Among them was also a small, but fine steam locomotive that went by the affectionate name "Nicki S.". Its story reads like a fairy tale with an unusual Happy End. This narrow gauge locomotive with a tender was "born" in the extremely restless times of World War II. In 1941 Henschel delivered the rather common HF 110 C 25982 designated locomotive to the German Army. In 1948 was taken over by the Austrian Federal Railroader as road number 798.101, but it was only used until 1952. From that time on this steam horse waited for the scrap cutter or a prince, who would save it from its sad fate. It finally came in the person of the Bielefeld entrepreneur Walter Seidensticker, who acquired road number 798.101 and overhauled it extensively to appear in new glory. Its proud owner was so enthusiastic about his new decorative locomotive that he used his daughter's name 'Nicki S.' for it. Starting in 1984 this locomotive thrilled visitors from near and far in the delightful Jagst Valley between Möckmühl and Dörzbach. When operations were halted there, Seidensticker brought his "Nicki" to the short line steam line Mühlenstroth close to him, where it can still be admired as "Nicki und Frank S.". However, it cannot be run to the festivities in the Jagst Valley, because it no longer runs on 750 mm / 30 inch gauge. It has been regauged to 600 mm / 24 inch. In its place its sister locomotive 99 4652 is coming to Dörzbach and will remind people of when a HF 110 C locomotive steamed through the picturesque valley. Our two models can then festively celebrate on the LGB Railroad the major Jagst Valley Anniversary.

Specifications:

Length over the buffers approximately 5.20 cm

Scale: G (1:22.5)

Type: Steam Locomotives

Warning

ATTENTION: not suitable for children under 15 years.

This product contains small parts that may be a choking hazard.

lgb L23531 Class G 4/5 Steam Locomotive

Model: Spare parts for our articles can be found here in our spare parts search.

<img src="https://micromacromundo.website/img/ic/marklin/icon/icon_U0048.png" style="height: 60px; width: auto;" alt="H" title="Digital decoder with up to 32 digitally controlled functions. Against the background of still new electrical operation was the planned route from Bever to Scuol in the Engadin area as an experimental route. Several class Ge 4/6 locomotives were ordered and delivered between 1912 and 1914. The locomotives delivered chiefly by SLM and MFO, road numbers 351 to 355 turned out very well and met all the requirements with their performance of 560 kilowatts and a maximum speed of 55 km/h / 34.375 mph. The units were originally painted green and between 1920 and 1923 were painted in the usual brown used on older design locomotives. Actually, these locomotives were supposed to be retired after the delivery of the Ge 4/4 I, but this was not possible due to the increase in traffic in the Fifties and Sixties. The locomotives were partially modernized and continued to remain in use well into the Seventies.

Specifications:

Length over the buffers approximately 5.00 cm

Scale: G (1:22.5)

Type: Electric Locomotives

Warning

ATTENTION: not suitable for children under 15 years.

This product contains small parts that may be a choking hazard.

lgb L24743 DEV Spreewald Steam Locomotive

Model: This is a model of the DEV (German Railroad Association) "Spreewald" steam locomotive as it can be currently be seen on the museum railroad from Bruchhausen-Vilsen to Asendorf. The subject in the "Spreewald", a 109 nine year old old-timer that presently steams as a small jewel on the German Railroad Association (DEV) in Bruchhausen-Vilsen on the First German Museum Railroad through the delightful countryside. Among the many well preserved DEV old-timers the "Spreewald" can definitely tell the most exciting story. In 1917 it first saw the light of day along with four sibling locomotives at the locomotive builder in Jungenthal on the Sieg. The first assigned route for this 40 km/h / 25 mph agile unit with three driving axles and one pilot truck was located in the dark forests of East Prussia near the Pillkaller Short Line on the border with the Russian Empire. In the fall of 1944, a number of these short line units were relatively new before the invasion of the Red Army and were run to the West. A departing unit finally landed by the Spreewald Railroad and was given the road number 99 5633 by the German State Railroad. After its home route was shut down the locomotive came from the GDR and found a new home at the DEV. The "Spreewald" came into the LGB program for the first time in 1988. Since then, it has been one of the most popular garden railroad models. LGB is reissuing this classic again for the 60th anniversary of the DEV Museum Railroad – as a successful tribute to a short line steam locomotive with a great history.

Specifications:

Length over the buffers approximately 3.30 cm

Scale: G (1:22.5)

Type: Steam Locomotives

Warning

ATTENTION: not suitable for children under 15 years.

This product contains small parts that may be a choking hazard.

lgb L26660 Class FZe 6/6 Powered Rail Car Era VI

<img src="https://micromacromundo.website/img/ic/marklin/icon/icon_U0048.png" style="height: 60px; width: auto;" alt="H" title="Digital decoder with up to 32 digitally controlled functions. The decision was taken here to acquire 2 electric powered rail cars with baggage areas. They had a performance of more than 1100 horsepower and were built by SIG/BBC. In 1932/1933 both units were designated as the class FZe 6/6 with road numbers 2001 and 2002 on the MOB roster. These six-axle B-B-B powered rail cars had a length over the buffers of 17 meters / 55 feet 3 inches and a maximum speed of 60 km/h / 37 mph. At that time, they were among the most powerful electric locomotives running on meter gauge lines! Actually, the two electric rail cars were supposed to pull luxury trains, but they were seldom used for this purpose because luxury trains no longer enjoyed any demand due to the economic crisis around 1930. The MOB thus used both powered rail cars in freight service. Over the years both units experienced several new designations and conversions. Right at the construction of the Hongrin Dam at the end of the Sixties both powered rail cars were a big support for bringing necessary cement from Montreux to Allières. At the end of the Seventies road number 2002 came up for an overhaul, since it had a fire. In the mid Nineties this unit was put into storage because of too small wheel tires. In 2008, road number 2002 was incorporated into the BC (Blonay-Chamby Museum Railroad) and some of the parts from 2001 were used to reactivate 2002. The articulated powered rail car 2002 now runs on the Blonay – Chamby Museum Railroad.

The model of this articulated powered rail car is now being produced in the scale of 1:22.5 in metal as a high-end model. As you are already familiar with our high-end models, the class FZe 6/6 is done in a very high level of detailing. The paint scheme and lettering on the FZe 6/6 2002 for the MOB (actually currently the Blonay – Chamby Museum Railroad) are in the current condition of the real-life unit. Also correct for the era in the current museum condition are the pantographs and roof equipment. An mfx/DCC sound decoder with different light and sound functions such as the Swiss headlight / marker light code, cab lighting and interior lighting, digitally operated pantographs, and much more provide a high level of operating enjoyment on this 76 cm / 30 inch model, which can also run with no problem on Radius R1.

Specifications:

Scale: G (1:22.5)

Type: Electric Locomotives

Warning

ATTENTION: not suitable for children under 15 years.

This product contains small parts that may be a choking hazard.

lgb L36026 2026 Christmas Car

Model: Spare parts for our articles can be found here in our spare parts search.

Highlights:

Christmas car.

Beautifully designed theme.

Metal wheelsets.

Prototype: The Christmas car for 2026 is extensively imprinted with a wonderful Christmas theme. In cooperation with SLM (mechanical part) as well as BBC and MFO (electrical part) the result was a unit with three two-axle trucks and a locomotive body divided in the middle by articulation, which best met the requirements and especially the route conditions of the RhB. In 1955, two such class Ge 6/6 II locomotives were initially ordered and by mid-1958 were delivered with the road numbers 701 and 702. The outer trucks as well as the single phase series wound motors were identical with those of the Ge 4/4 I 601-610. The 294 kilowatt (400 horsepower) traction motors were controlled by a low voltage step relay controller corresponding to the level of the technology of that time. There were 28 speed levels with voltages of approximately 70 to 480 volts and 15 electric brake steps. The recuperative brakes worked on descending grades using the proven MFO excitation motor circuit.

These two six-axle units turned out so well that the RhB ordered five more units in 1964 for the increasingly heavier Albula express trains, which were delivered in 1965 with the road numbers 703-707. While the preproduction locomotives still had end doors (1968/69 welded shut), these doors were not installed on the units built seven years later and the locomotives had two-part windshields instead of three-part designs. The ends of road numbers 701 and 702 were adapted in the Eighties to those of the five newer locomotives. Starting in 1985 the class Ge 6/6 II units lost their green paint job and were gradually repainted in the current red scheme during main inspections. In 1998 the double arm pantographs made way for the modern single arm designs. After the appearance of the class Ge 4/4 III starting in 1994, the class Ge 6/6 II gradually moved over to freight train service, but they also were used to pull passenger trains. Since 2023 all the locomotives have disappeared from active service. Three of these units, road numbers 702, 705, and 707 are still preserved. The 4 other units have been scrapped.

Specifications:

Length over the buffers approximately 6.50 cm

Scale: G (1:22.5)

Type: Electric Locomotives

Warning

ATTENTION: not suitable for children under 15 years.

This product contains small parts that may be a choking hazard.

lgb L25020 KLV 20 Handcar Era III

<img src="https://micromacromundo.website/img/ic/marklin/icon/icon_U0048.png" style="height: 60px; width: auto;" alt="H" title="Digital decoder with up to 32 digitally controlled functions. Most of the class L45H locos were delivered to Poland, Romania, and Hungary. The former GDR did not order any of these locos back then. Following the reunification of Germany in 1990, however, various machines of this type came to Germany, including road number L45H-083.
