The machine room lighting can be controlled digitally. Maintenance-free warm-white and red LEDs are used for the lighting.\nA buffer capacitor to bridge short unpowered sections of track is fitted. The DBS 54 pantographs with a type WB 15 Wanisch contact strip can be controlled digitally. The loco body has a replicated, raised “chrome strip.” The locomotive has separately applied windshield wipers. It also has separately applied metal grab irons and roof conductors. There is a locomotive engineer figure in cab 1.\nThe loco has a prototypically designed cab rear wall. Aprons for the display case, brake lines, sockets, and screw couplers are included separately for installation on the model.
