Shipping Policy

Domestic Shipping (Continental USA, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico)

Carriers

We ship via FedEx, UPS, or USPS Priority Mail at our discretion. You may request FedEx 2-Day Air or Next Day Air service for an additional charge.

Signature Required

Signature is required on ALL shipments. Due to heavy losses from carriers leaving parcels unattended, carriers will not cover insurance claims for lost parcels without signature confirmation.

  • USPS: May hold parcels at your local Post Office for up to 30 days if no one is home to sign
  • FedEx: Will make 3 delivery attempts before returning the parcel
  • Extra shipping fees may apply if a parcel is returned to us

If you request "No Signature," you accept full responsibility for any lost parcel and waive your right to dispute charges.

Shipping Charges

  • Shipping charges shown at checkout are estimates only
  • Final charges are adjusted to actual cost at shipping time based on final weight and dimensions
  • Small items fitting in USPS Small Boxes ship via Priority Mail at cost plus insurance
  • Bulky boxes are charged by dimensional weight, not actual weight
  • Minimum package weight: 1 lb (even for lighter items)

Dimensional Weight Formula

Length × Width × Height ÷ 139 = Chargeable Weight (in lbs) If actual weight is higher than dimensional weight, you pay by actual weight.

International Shipping (Overseas)

Canada is considered Overseas.

Minimum Order

International orders require a minimum of $50.00 in products.

How It Works

You may receive two charges:

  1. Cost of goods plus handling/export documentation fees
  2. Actual postage cost (charged after we ship)

Carriers & Methods

  • We typically ship via USPS International (insured)
  • Maximum box size: 79 inches girth (some countries allow 108 inches)
  • Items 46 inches or longer cannot be shipped by Postal Service

Important Notes

  • All merchandise is declared at full invoice value (we do not under-invoice)
  • We ship FOB Miami - shipping fees do not include taxes, VAT, duties, or customs fees
  • Delivery times listed by USPS are estimates; customs clearance may add delays
  • Some countries require you to pick up and pay duties at your local Post Office

Duties, Taxes & VAT

You are responsible for:

  • Import duties
  • VAT (Value Added Tax)
  • Customs fees
  • Brokerage fees

Please contact your country's customs authority BEFORE ordering to understand potential charges.

RC, Plastic Models, Starter Sets & Bulky Items

Due to the complex size and weight of these products:

  • Shipping costs shown at checkout will be adjusted to actual carrier costs
  • All sales are final on these items

Typical weights:

  • Ready-to-Run RC Cars: 8-15 lbs
  • RC Trucks: up to 27 lbs
  • RC Tanks: 20-35 lbs
  • Airplanes: Charged by dimensional weight (up to 50 lbs equivalent)

Insurance

We do not ship without insurance.

  • Orders over $100 are automatically insured
  • UPS/FedEx: First $50-$100 included; additional coverage added as needed
  • USPS: Insurance charged at postal rates

If you decline insurance, you accept 100% responsibility for any loss or damage and waive your right to dispute charges.

We recommend accepting insurance for peace of mind.

Damaged Shipments

We are not responsible for carrier damage.

If Your Package Arrives Damaged:

  1. DO NOT OPEN the box if damage is visible
  2. Note the damage with the delivery driver immediately
  3. Contact us right away to start an insurance claim

Important: Carriers do not accept claims on opened boxes. Damage to outer packaging that doesn't affect the product inside is not covered.

USPS Shipments

For postal deliveries, it is your responsibility to file a claim with your local Post Office. We will provide necessary documentation. Claims may take 6-9 months to process.

Processing Time

  • Orders are given to carriers the next business day after processing
  • Shipping status date may differ from carrier's actual shipping date

PayPal Orders

Orders paid via PayPal have special requirements:

  • Signature required regardless of order value
  • Ships only to PayPal Verified Address
  • We cannot ship to a different "Ship To" address
  • No backorders - please only order in-stock items
