Märklin 48193 Type Tanoos Dump Car Set
Model: These are detailed models with many separately applied parts, such as unloading mechanisms, hand wheels, and handrails. The cars have separately applied platforms. The hinged roofs can be opened. All dump cars have different car numbers. The cars are individually packaged inside a master package. Length over the buffers per car 18.2 cm / 7-1/8". Total length over the buffers approximately 55 cm / 21-5/8".
This item has been developed in a cooperative venture with PIKO Spielwaren GmbH, Sonneberg, Germany.

Prototype: Three four-axle type Tanoos dump cars with hinged roofs. Light gray basic paint scheme. Privately owned car painted and lettered for the VTG subsidiary in Switzerland, registered in the Netherlands. The cars look as they do in era VI.
