Prototype: This circuit board is for installation in locomotives and powered rail car trains with 2 pickup shoes. It enables operation with the pickup shoe at the "front" of the unit (depending on the direction of travel) picking up power. This guarantees that units such as an ICE come to a halt at the right location in a stop block. An mLD3 or mSD3 decoder is also required.
