Tamiya 56352 RC Arocs 3363 6x4

Description: This 1/14 scale tractor truck recreates the Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3363 3-axle truck, which is the first narrow bodied European tractor model in the Tamiya Tractor Truck Series. The full-size subject is the German company's heavy duty tractor head that debuted in 2013. Powered by a 630hp 15.6-liter inline-6, the actual Arocs is capable of hauling massive loads of up to 250 tons.

Features:

  • 3-speed transmission with constant mesh gears
  • Metal rail chassis Scale suspension with heavy duty metal leaf-springs and coil spring dampers
  • Propeller-shaft driven rear axles (both axles are used to drive the truck)
  • Numerous scale body accessories including metal grab rails and side mirror supports, metal dual exhaust pipes and chrome plated parts (grille, fuel tanks, side steps, horns, wipers, visor, rims, bumpers, light mounts, mirrors and tire guards)
  • Built-in Box trailer made of high quality aluminum
  • Oilite bearings (bushings).

Includes:

  • Injection molded body (White) and truck interior

  • Mud flaps
  • Illustrated instructions

  • Electronic Speed Control: Tamiya TEU302BK recommended, do not use the Tamiya TEU101BK or the TEU104BK
  • Battery: 6-cell flat pack (or 7-cell hump)
  • Charger for battery pack

Specs:

  • Gear Configuration: Low (1st) gear ratio: 1:32.49 Middle (2nd) gear ratio: 1:17.66 Top (3rd) gear ratio: 1:10.66

Comments: The Tamiya Multi Function Control Unit is not included and provides many different truck related sound effects.

Both vehicle types require a 4 channel stick type radio for full function. If you're going to outfit your vehicle with one of our multifunction units (MFU), you will need to choose a analog radio. Shifting into gear is extremely easy once your transmission is adjusted correctly.

Our Semi trucks and Highlifts use 3speed transmissions for more maneuverability and true scale realism. Whether you're hauling a big load or climbing some rough terrain, the ability to shift into low gear can make the difference. High speed runs are no problem once you kick it into 3rd gear, when its time to move out!

Below you will see the basic concept on how the servo moves the transmission into all three gears. It is best to get the transmission adjusted with your trims centered and only using the collar on the transmission rod to adjust final increments. This will allow for the best operation if you're using a MFU unit.

*Make sure to use loctite on the grub screw in the collar to prevent having to readjust the transmission again.

*Taking a little extra time to set the transmission up will provide you with better performance and less adjustments down the road.
